the volcano series at ruby green, nashville
				the internet is a wonderful thing: I was able to supplement my fourth-grade memory of volcano-building projects with teachers' notes (casting plaster poured on wet sand is the winning solution). originally white, the sculptures are dyed by the coloring in the vineger eruptions.
