the volcano series at ruby green, nashville
				before the opening of the show, we staged a Volcano Party, complete with volcano-shaped cakes baked by Chris and Leslie of Ruby Green. little ace volcanologist kids came in and had at the plaster vinegar & baking soda volcanoes. the sculptures erupted continuously until we'd gone through a half-gallon of vinegar & more red food coloring than anyone should even contemplate eating in a lifetime. shown are implements of the mad-scientists' lab, with volcanoes in the distance.
