×        Pro-Helvetia Grant.  Swiss culture abroad grant to assist with Cutting Fine, Cutting Deep.  Secured with and supplemented by assistance from the Swiss Consulate General in Atlanta.

×        Chase Coggins Memorial Fellowship.  For Òwandering the wilderness with artistic, scientific, or philosophical intent.Ó  Completed and photographed one round of the 88-temple Buddhist pilgrimage on Shikoku Island, Japan.
