Individual Shrines , Phase Two
the 40 shrines in the 100 Names Project phase II installation
had a couple of functions to fulfill. first, they needed to be seductive
enough for viewers to want to participate in the object-exchange. second,
they needed to be open/empty enough for participants to use them as nuclei
for their own at-home shrines.
